Currrent Sinn Fein leadership betrays Republican traditions.

I never was a member of Sinn Fein.I never took up arms to shoot enemies of Republicans. It is probably to my shame that I did little to help those Republicans who fought the British Empire.the Irish Republic and the failed Northern Ireland entity in order to get equality  for Catholics from the early 1920 s until the passage of the Good Friday agreement.
I have nothing but admiration for those that did.
Three of my granduncles,Mallons from Bohermeen joined the IRA during the War of Independence and fought the better equipped forces of the greatest Empire the world has ever known .including the Royal Irish  Constabulary and the professional murderers and thugs  of the Black and Tans.
They lived day to day and hour by hour as they set their sights on a better resourced and equipped enemy.
I am absolutely sure that they never would have contemplated setting their gun sights on the bodies of the unborn children of Ireland.
We now have Sinn Fein .which claims to be the successors of these heroes doing precisely this and because the leader is a woman ,blood thirsty to introduce human sacrifice into this republic's laws and culture ,no one of significance in that Party has the balls to stand up and call halt.
It is no surprise to me that Fine Gael thinks that little of the living unborn ,especially if they are Christian Irish ,have their eyes on stalks seeking to make the murder of the living unborn part of our legal culture.
Every  chance their frontbenchers get they attack the Catholic Ethos but not the ethos of the minority Churches whose members they represent.
Yep fuck the Catholics.Put them down at every hands turn..Life will be a lot easier for us when we have cowed them out of comment and we have a free run at our form of secularism.
In this regard their Ministers are a thundering disgrace.
And as for certain Fianna Fail Ministers who support the introduction of human sacrifice into our laws and culture fuck them and the horses they rode into town in.
They all can cultivate friendship with that half XCHINESE ABORTIONIST WHOSE CLAIM TO FAME IS THAT HE HAS MURDERED OVER 40,000 UNBORN BABIES.
THEY SHOULD ALL FEEL COMFORTABLE IN HIS CIRCLE OF FRIENDS.

HEART RENDING DEATH OF NAOISE CLARKE LAMBAY

This morning a young child ,little more than a baby, flew from this life straight into the arms of the Angels. His departure was anticipated but is nevertheless shocking to all in Dunderry .neighbouring Parishes and indeed further afield.
His parents Damian and Eadaoin, his sister Muireann and all his relatives and his neighbours smothered him with love from birth until his premature departure and they left no stone unturned to make his life as comfortable and stress free as possible.
Our hearts bleed for them and hopefully our prayers will offer them some sort of limited succour.
His Funeral Mass is on Monday next 14th May at noon in Seipeal Naomh Padraig,Rathcairn, followed by burial Saint James Cemetery, Athboy.
Ar Dheis De go raibh a hAnam Dilis.
Words alone cannot express the devastation and loss felt here for all involved.
A terrible tragedy.

Death of S.V.Mc Cormack

Seamus, formerly of the Meadstown Road,Dunderry and latterly of Navan has passed away this morning after a long illness bravely endured.
He had made his peace with God and everybody else.
He was one of life's characters and during his 72 years on this earth he made many many people smile and laugh.
He was irrepressible .
To his wife Claire and three children ,Derek,Brian and Niamh and grandchildren ,Nina and Aoife especially we offer our sincere condolences. We also sympathise  with his only brother Pat.
When we were much younger Jimmy and Nan,Seamus's parents, took in my siblings and I when my mother would be in Hospital having the latest baby.Seamus and Patrick were older and were kind to us.
They were fierce interested in racing bikes then and indeed subsequently.I  had never seen one, especially one with a fixed wheel and had no idea how it worked.
In any event they gave me an old one and challenged me to a race up the Meadstown Road past I think WOOD's shop .
Wishing to give a good account of myself I pedalled like the clappers until I came to the finishing line ,when I stopped pedalling and was thrown over thee handlebars and nearly kilt.To this day I don't know whether this was their idea of a joke or not.If it was it was in poor taste.
Our house in Blanch was a pit stop for all Dunderry people, especially our relatives and the Meadstown Mc Cormacks called in many many times when passing through Blanch.
There were nine kids in the house and had my mother notice of arrivals one of us would be dispatched to Shaw's shop -----now Maccarris Chipper---- to get provisions .
But one day they called out of the blue and provisions were low,so the best the Ma could do was to produce a plate of cheese sandwiches, which everybody tucked into bar Pat".Whats wrong Pat "said the Ma."Aunt Peggy I am not very enthusiastic about cheese ".After a very pregnant silence the Ma said "For a ten year old he has a fierce command of the English language ,hasn't he."And so it went.
Much later  ,when Seamus was in his early twenties the Ras Tailteann was going through Blanch on its way to Navan. We were in our back and only kitchen having a cup of tay ,when this vision in Lycra came in the back door breathless and shining with sweat with the bike on his back.
"Jaysus Peggy I am the fuckest man in Ireland ,make us a feed "said Seamus."That's the end of my cycling days"
Seamus had many careers and was never boring. He was prone to exaggeration and could spoof with the best.He always dressed well and could and probably did  sell sand to the Arabs.
Goodbye Cousin.
Ar Dheis De go raibh a hAnam Dilis.
He will be reposing in his residence in Ferndale ,Navan from 5.00 pm to 8.00pm on Thursday 26/4/2018 with the Funeral Mass on Friday 27/4/2018 in St, Mary's  Church ,Navan at 10.00 a.m.
Burial after wards in St.Mary's Cemetery.

Dunderry 2-14.Drumbarragh 1-9.IFC ROUND 2.

As a kind of prologue to this report mise has missed a number of football and hurling matches this year for one reason or another.Hopefully things will sort themselves out henceforth.
Generally I take the view that Dunderry has traditionally been a strong Intermediate  football team through most of its existence, occasionally winning a Championship and heading upwards to Senior.
The last wave of players to go Senior stayed up a considerable time ,winning a Senior in 1996 and staying up until 2005,when we were demoted down.
We have been strong at Inter  level since then .losing a final replay to St.COLMCILLES two years ago probably being the epitome of our always gallant efforts.
I have seen a number of League matches this year .The one versus Senchaelstown being the most recent.
They are a solid but currently non spectacular Senior team and in my time we have been just as good as them even though we are a grade below them.
We played them in our pitch recently and it was a draw.
Even though we were short half a team between County commitments and injury 20 men and boys togged out,so caps off to players and mentors.
I think we scored only 0-4 in the worst half of football we played for decades.
The second half was different though as we raised our game and both sides put on an exhibition that would warm the cockles.
The deciding factor was probably the dismissal of one of their players and we were cute enough to make the advantage pay.
The refereeing of that match was very fussy as are all the matches I attend and I  genuinely wonder whether over fussiness has contributed to the falling through the ranks of the County Team.Put simply do guys feel they are inhibited from robust legal challenges to the extent tat they don't even try.
There again Meath is producing more more top grade Inter County refs. than any other County so the POWERS THAT BE SURE LIKE THEM.
Maybe there is a case for referees to be instructed to give the benefit of the doubt to robust play at Club level and cut back on the blowing of the whistle for little or nothing .Surely a decent level of physicality is the hallmark of our games and we shouldn't leave this aspect of confrontation to the Rugger crowd, where it is regarded as an attribute.
Now I missed the match against Longwood  which I expected us to win.We lost by 3-12 to 1-13 a fair beating even if we were short a number of regulars.
So the omens were not good.
In ATHBOY ,where the gate man refused to believe that t I was an OAP we fielded as follows;-

                                                      Jennings
O Shea                                      Dempsey Conor                                Watters

Martin Oisin                               Davy Mack                                  A.Newman

                                    Kenneally              Dempsey Liam

Martin Jordan                               Bomber                                     Dermot Kelly

Luke Martin                                 Coogan Stephen                        Kane Mark
For the first time this year we were playing with a full deck.
Eoin Dempsey, and Ronan Brady  ere wbrough on in the second half .
For the first quarter it was tit fot tat.The second quarter saw us string together some lovely moves and scores and we were well ahead at half time on a score of           to            .
After half time they rattled the onion bag but we raised our game well and were well out of sight at the final whistle Lukie scoring a first rate goal and missing an easier one.Kane scored the other.
Our scorers were Dermot Kelly 0-8 all frees.Stephen Coogan 0-2 .1 free.Lukie and Kane a goal apiece .Bomber 0-2 and Aron Newman,Jordan Maryyn a point apiece.
DERMOT AND Stephen scored 0-9 from frees, a testament to the fussy referring of Gerry  Mc Givney WHO WAS PERHAPS A LITTLE WHISTLE HAPPY, BUT OTHERWISE DIED A FAIR GOOD JOB.
We were good value for our win and all played well.A massive improvement on last years contest against the same opposition.

Cowslips poking heads through.

I cannot remember a worse winter than the one gone by.From Christmas until last week there were only 4 days hereabouts when it didn't rain or snow.
My uncles used say "strip the meadow ground in February and cut the meadows the first of May".
The first of May is nigh and there is more greenery on a billiard table than on the meadow ground.
Every small farmer I know is severely broke from prolonged buying of fodder and depression is widespread all over the shop.
The Government badly misread the situation and what it came up with was too little too late.
It will take years to overcome the disastrous setbacks and some will never recover.Time nor money is not  on their sides.
Notwithstanding this mother nature is kicking in on a small scale .
On the fringes of unmanured fields and along ditches the very odd cowslip is starting to emerge.
You know them. They are on slim stalks with yellow bell shaped flowers hanging down from the tops of the stalks.
Signs of better things to come hopefully.

Death of Joe Clarke,Dunderry.

Joe Clarke ,renowned Dunderry veterinarian recently died after a very short illness.I  think he was 88 years old.I had great time for Joe as he was a pleasant and decent man and easy to talk to.
Dunderry Gaels have good reason to laud his decency, as for many years prior to the Gaa Club securing and opening the present grounds in 1988, he allowed the Club the use of his field adjacent to the graveyard for the training of teams and the playing of games .
I had the honour of playing on it and I am sure that several generations of hurlers and footballers far better than me honed their skills there .
There was a family connection also as my mother's people the Mc Cormacks availed of his veterinarian services from the time he qualified until he retired.
I often heard them laud his  decency saying that they had to approach him after 50 years looking for a bill for services rendered for all those years.
Fifty quid he asked for and fifty quid he got.
In recent years I asked him was that true .He said it was, remarking that some others were similarly billed but never coughed up.
He farmed and was a horse breeder of renown  for decades past
He was predeceased by his wife a number of years ago and is survived by his son Thomas and daughters Cogie and Blainid and a number of grandchildren,to whom we offer our sympathies.
Ar Dheis De go raibh a hANAM Dilis.
His remains will be received in the Parish Church ,Trim this Thursday evening at 7.00 p.m.with Funeral Mass on Friday at 11.30.a.m.

Auld traditions alive in Dunderry.

If there is anything worse than the needy it is the greedy.A few years ago the greedy professional Rugby crowd fixed a match in Thomond Park between Munster and Leinster for Good Friday and the greedy publicans of Limerick and elsewhere decided that it was not enough to open for business 363 days of the year but that they also needed to open up on Good Friday too ,the day of Christ's cruxifiction,to cater for the superior rugger crowd who more than anyone else had to have their thirst sated on this Holiest of days.
Of course a judge called O Donnell allowed the opening of various pubs to cater for the Rugger crowd who presumably are of his class and who deserved more than anyone else to be catered for.
I well remember that some idiotic Limerick gurriers displayed banners bragging that Rugby was more popular than Religion in Munster.
While this may or may not be true it is clear that spit roasting too is de rigeur for certain participants in this greedy sport of the privileged and one can only hope that it too is not sought special status by the Rugger crowd.
As a matter of record Munster have won nothing of significance since.Maybe they have atoned since for this blasphemy.Time will tell.
Of course the political parties have followed on in this vein in their vain efforts to shed this religious legacy of the Irish people and their fore bearers.
Given that most people check their hand to see whether all  their fingers are still all there after shaking hands with most politicians this is no surprise.
Last Friday signalled the bedding in  of Official Greed in Eire ,when for the first  time it became legal to serve alcohol in pubs and elsewhere on the most sacred of days.
So bereft is RTE of news that it identified a town in Cork where the Pubs choose not to succumb to greed and stayed closed.
I am glad to report that the two pubs of Dunderry,Horans and Geraghty's had the backbone not to hop on this populist and greedy horse and chose to remain closed for the day.
Fair dues to them
As the pub in Robinstown has closed some time ago are were we  the only dry Parish in Ireland  on Good Friday.

Protect the lives of the Living unborn.Rosary at 2.30 tomorrow Sunday 19th March 2018 at Retaine Graveyard.

I am a passionate believer that human life begins at the moment of conception and that a soul attaches at that stage.Certainly everybody ever born was conceived at the some stage and it is therefor impossible to be born without being conceived firstly. The mass of cells that begin to develop after conception in human reproduction are human and nothing else. They are not an alien being that science deniers call a foetus in order to dehumanize them.
The Nazis dehumanized the Jews ,other races and the mentally and physically disabled in order to murder them.
Under the Irish Constitution the Supreme Court has decided that the only protection the unborn human being has is the right to be born enshrined in the Constitution by the Eight Amendment .
Remove this and there will be NO CONSTITUTIONAL PROTECTION WHATSOEVER available in favour of the living unborn AND THEY MAY BE KILLED RIGHT UP TO THE MOMENT OF BIRTH.
Those who favour the State killing of the living unborn say we can rely on the politicians who inhabit the Dail to protect the living unborn by legislation they pass there.
If you believe this you will believe anything.Consider for example the way Fianna Fail ,a decidedly pro life party  has been betrayed in this regard by its leader Michael Martin and other mainly Cork based front bench spokesmen. You couldnt trust them as far as you throw them.
IT is an accepted fact that if you make something legal that the underlying ethos will make its practise more normal and its practise will become more acceptable as time passes.
This is why UNBORN KIDS WITH DOWNS SYNDROME and other congenital conditions such as Edwards Syndrome are aborted in vitro in other countries where abortion is prevalent.
Once the principle of taking life of the unborn beds in the legal system of a society it is only a matter of time until until it permeates other matters of life and death in that society.
I have personal but unwitting experience of an elderly but well enough old person being administered an injection to stop her heart beating and "help on her way"in Great Britain in recent years. This form of murder was and is commonplace in the nursing home where she resided and I suspect throughout that country.
In the Gaeltachs of this country special kids were and are regarded as a gift from God by families who were lucky enough to have them entrusted to their care and are regarded  as" leanai speisealta"",not sub humans to be put to death before being born.
It is no coincidence that the surnames of those leading the campaign for the murder of the innocents are as far from being Irish  as you could get and it is also no surprise that other with Irish surnames are leading the campaign for legalizing the taking the blood of the innocents. You should remember that the BRITS HAD TO HAVE THE ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT OF MANY IRISH to keep their neighbours down and dead if necessary for nearly a 800 years
The spawn of the squaddy still abounds, especially now in Sinn Fein  under the leadership of Mary Lou .
My grand uncles risked their lives fighting the Brits for Indepence in WAR OF Independence  for IRISH FREEDOM.
To see Mary Lou leading a Party campaigning for the murder of the most defenceless Irish people imaginable is as far from their activities as is imaginable and a betrayal of the entire Republican ideal and sickening.

Now these  are my personal views.

And all over Ireland tomorrow at 2.30 a Rosary will be held to retain the right of the unborn to life .
In Dunderry Parish the Rosary will be held in Retaine Graveysard at 2.30.

Dunderry is swamped by deaths

The latest casualty is Maureen Mc Connell, nee Herbert. She died today.Mickey Daly died on Tuesday.Adam Cosgrove was buried on Monday, just 17 years old.Mrs Farrelly from Clonbun ,but in Dunderry Parish ,is being buried on Saturday.
Where will it end.
Mrs Clarke from Macetown is dead as also are John Bligh from Kilbride and Michael Vaughan who also lived in Kilbride and was married to a sisater of Dinny Gogarty.
May they all rest in peace.

Death of a Gent.Mickey Daly.died 13/02/2018

His death did not surprise Mickey Daly from Dunderry. He knew for sure it was imminent. As a friend of long standing I am devastated.
Last November he gave me the low down on his health. He had cancer and after consideration had decided to meet it head on without the application of chemo and radiotherapy. He has seen too much suffering caused by these to no avail.
This brave, principled and affable man died as he lived ,without fear nor fanfare.
He once said to me after burying a young grandaughter who died in a freak accident  that he had climbed many hills in his lifetime but didn't know whether he could climb that one.
He survived that one ,greatly diminished.
The present one was a step too far.
Maghera's  loss was Dunderry's gain.Dunderry's loss is Heaven's gain.
His presence graced the fields ,streets and streams of Dundrry, particularly the GAA Club where he and all his sons were life members.
Reposing in his home today Thursday  4.00 to 8.00 p.m.and Funeral Mass tomorrow at Noon in Dunderry.
To his wife ,children and grandchildren ,wide circle of in laws and massive circle of friends we offer our condolences.

Din 2 F.League .28/01/2018 .Dunderry 3-6.Trim 1-11.

This was our first match of 2018,as far as I know.We have been training a while.Phil.Fay Jnr.is concentrating on the Meath Ladies Football, where his daughters are involved and has quit as a selector .His place is taken by Gary Newman as far  as I know.Ted is still Manager and our Evan,Lee Mulligan and Declan Mahon are also selectors.
I think that a fourth Garry,Michael  ,a son of the Bear's togged out as a sub today.T.J.,  Martin and Alan  have given full service to us before emigrating.Martiin is back  but the other pair are still abroad .Wouldn't it be great to see all four together again in the one Dundeery Team.
Played in Trim this morning on a great pitch there was a strong wind into which we played in the first half.
Only three of the last Senior Team Team to play in 2005 are on the present Panel.ie.Davy Jennings,Davy Mac and Kevin Bruton. There are four e new graduates to the Panel ,Ronan Brady ,Dermot Kelly Shane Heffernan and Jamie Leavy..Ronan is John's son,Diarmuid is Sean's son,Jamie is Timber's son and Shane is the son of  a decent Limerick man ,who has four of them, one bigger than the other.
It is noticeable that the new guys are all strapping guys well over six feet tall.
Our senior County Football panellists,Conor Dempsey,Paddy Kenneally and Luke Martin were unable to play ,it was rumoured ,because of County commitments and injury .Darren Callaghan is rumoured to have retired.
Stephen Coogan is Captain and uniquely,Hurling Captain also.
Trim too were short 4 or 5 players due to County committments.
Team was
                                                      Jennings
A.Newman                                    Davy Mac.                     A.Feeney.

Oisin Martin.                                   O.Dempsey                  M.Kane.

                                            L.Dempsey             C.O.Shea.
R.Brady                                           Bomber Farrell.            Gooch Daly.

A,Watters                                        S.Coogan                      D.Kelly.
Used during the game also were Shane Heffernan, and Jamie Leavy and a full list of the other subs are not yet to hand .
There was a fair bite in the game from the first whistle and plenty of short inter passing. We are fairly adept at this, probably a bit wiser than Trim at it.
Trim scored the first point but  a surge of speed by Kane followed by some slick inter passing ended with Liamo rattling the onion bag.
And then Coogan repeated the dose.Looking good and against the gale too.
But WE died and Trim took over, scoring 7 points in succession without reply before the half time whistle shrilled
Half Time Us.2-0.Them 0-8.
O Shea was our best in the first half I thought, manning the breaches manfully. He is as strong as a young ass.
With the wind in our backs I thought we ought shade it in the second half.
Trim opened with an early point, but Googan with a free and Liamo with another  goal  and a point put us in the lead again.
Trim pulled back with another point before Kane and Coogan increased our lead with minors.Trim score another minor before another brace of points by Coogan from  a free and a fifty put us well ahead but Trim refused to die bulging the net from play.
That left us a point up as Trim laid siege to our goal but our backs held out tenaciously to keep the lead in a tense final five minutes.
We won by 3-6 to 1-11 .
Our cause was greatly helped by Trim calling the influential Frankie Murphy ashore ,the one move you would make to help us to victory. Our mentors would hardly be so unwise.Inexplicable.
There was little between the teams,it was a good game overall and our debutantes did well.No fears there. Our substitutions were on the ball and this was probably the deciding factor in our win.
A fair display all round I thought.
When all our players are available for selection our mentors will have their work cut out.Nice problem to have.
That two intermediate teams could have 6 or 7 players on the County panel is extraordinary in my humble view.Maybe a good omen for both Clubs.
Sub's bench.J.Leavy,S.Heffernan,Jack Brady,M.Garry,Mick Garry,Jack Dempsey,Tomas Conroy,Kevin Bruton,Garrett Dooley,Dec.Mahon.

Do you trust women.

Somewhere there exists a cabal of people who want to kill preborn children at the behest of their  mothers and these people think up trick questions to trap out the protectors of preborm children .They have thought up this question.
I heard the apparently fragrant Claire Byrne spring that question on the Liberal's favourite Cleric and serial panellist ,Brian Darcy yesterday.
"Do you trust women "she asked fluttering her eyelashes at him.Given that he is a trendy liberal priest appearing on  a Television Station awash with anti Clerical bigots what could he say only "Yes"
This was a cowardly question by her and a cowardly answer by him,

What he should have said  was that some people are trustworthy and some are not and women are no different than men in this regard.
And as the way God designed the procreation procedure is for a man to impregnate a woman and for her to carry the child to fruition in her womb t men too must have an equal right to decide on these maters.
I am quite sure that thee are many fathers  out there who are devastated because their female partners chose to have an abortion without consulting them .
Just as there are many fathers out there that are glad it happened,

Michael Martyn drives nail into lives of unborn.

Michael Martin is the leader of Fiannna Fail, the first leader of that Party never to be Taoiseach. The membership of that PARTY  and the Parliamentarians of that Party recently voted overwhelmingly to oppose any moves to kill the living unborn,
At his insistence a rule was brought in allowing freedom of conscience when voting either for or against the killing of preborn children inside that Party.
As leader he has a duty to reflect the majority views of his members.
By insisting on the freedom of conscience rule he set up a cocoon of safety for himself by coming out in favour of the killing of unborn children in recent days in the Dail  without informing his Parliamentary colleagues or Party members in advance of  his declaration..
He would nearly have you feeling sorry for him in describing the tortuous  journey he travelled in making this decision and all the reading he did.
God help him.
Does he not realize how lucky he is in being able to consider the ethical problems involved and being able to read all this information .
If his vile turncoat activities result in legislation allowing the killing of the living preborn. they will not be able,on account of being denied the fundamental right to be born of making these ethical decisions or doing this reading because they will not exist.
THE king of the Fir Breaga and a disgrace to the Irish people. And I guess the death knell of Fianna Fail..

Tubridy joins the Gallery of arseholes.

Earlier this week Ryen Tubridy gave his take on the overdue apology given by the Gardai to Johanna Hayes and her family for falsely accusing them of murdering a baby found in Caherciveen in Kerry in the early 1980.'s.
My memory of it went like this.
A baby was found which had been stabbed to death on the shoreline in Caherciveen .The local Gardai called in the Dublin based "Murder Squad",which specialized in solving murders, to help.
The Gardai trawled the County Kerry to identify any woman who had lost a child or given birth around that time.
Johann Hayes had given birth to a baby ,which she said had died ,and which she had buried on the family farm in Abbeydorney ,many miles from Caherciveen. She showed the burial place of the baby.
The Gardai and the State fingered her for the murder of the Caherciveen Baby even though blood tests conclusively proved that neither she nor her married lover could possibly be the parents of the Caherciveen baby.
They fell back on the most remote theory that she simultaneously had intercourse with two men and had given birth to twins with different fathers.
They got her to "confess" to the murder of the Caherciveen baby ,with no proof whatsoever save a "confession "by her which she maintained was extracted by undue duress .Other members of her family also "confessed "to that murder.
It was then clear, and it has been since clear that the prosecution was baseless and for this miscarriage of justice the State is now apologizing three decades later.
A Tribunal was set up to examine how this trumped charge was allowed to proceed and to examine the actions of the Gardai.
The tribunal personnel in the main did all they could to destroy the unfortunate lady but gave the Gardai and the other State personnel a relatively free  ride.
Both the Judge ,all the legal personnel and the preponderance of the  actors in the investigation were from that well heeled class from which Tubs springs ,yet he had the effrontery to blame the narrow mindedness of rural Ireland .and the implied morality of the yokels ,for the miscarriage of justice.
In truth the people of Abbeydorney ,which is as rural as it gets, knew well that a what was put forward by the State was bullshit and formed a cocoon of protection around the Hayes family and protected them from all outsiders.a cocoon they have in place to this day.
Not for the first time this condescending Arsehole let his bullshit liberal philosophy that he and his ilk champion slip out ,a philosophy that he and his  privileged anti Catholic workmates spout regularly about those who live outside the Pale.
In this instance it was precisely his Dublin based bullies who did all in their power to destroy a brave and ho nourable woman.
If Tubs has any balls and I doubt it he should immediately profoundly apologize to the people of Abbeydorney and all rural dwellers for branding them as he did.
It is  no surprise to me that the reinvestigation is focusing on the murder of the child and not on the actions of the Gardai.and the State apparatus.
For far too long now the Politicians and the Courts have turned a blind eye to the misbehaviour of some Gardai and let them away Scot free with unlawful activities.
The Morris Tribunal result, the industrial level of lying that produced over a million false breath tests, the wrongful prosecution of many thousands people for non payment of fixed charge notice, the persecution of decent whistle blowers who abhor wrongful behaviour and the personal experiences people see every day of wrongful abuse of power and the bullying of the populace by certain wrong Gardai does not arise by accident.
Its grandfather can be found in the treatment of Johann Hayes.
It seems to me that other convictions secured by the Gardai Unit who investigated the the Johanna Hayes case should also be examined to see if they too were tainted likewise.
Now we have certain people dumping on the Catholic Church for these abuses of State power.Particularly some by Church of Ireland commentators.and other non Catholic politicians and journalists..
Whether it is the loss of the tithes and their traditional access to and untrammeled minority rule of years ago they miss that THEY FEEL ENTITLES THEM TO DO THIS  DON'T KNOW.
Certainly they are over represented in in the professions involving the Law.
I rarely have heard Catholic commentators dumping on Church of Ireland persons and practises but the opposite does not pertain.
Simon Harris is the Minister for Health. He is a disaster in this role .Up to 500 people are lying on trolleys each day during his watch and over a half million people are awaiting specialist appointments.
God only knows how many people will die during his watch as a result.
His tiny mind has tried to link the right to kill unborn babies to the Johann Hayes case amongst others.  The  Catholic Church had no hand act nor part in the misconduct of the actors in that case.It didn't kill anyone.
Maybe his logic is that if a child is deliberately killed in the womb it won't be there to clutter up his hospitals in later life.
I have heard it said by some that the events of the handling of the Abbeydornet case is a blight on us all. This of course is nonsense of the highest order. It is not "us all"they that had control of the Gardai and the entire State apparatus that perpetrated that cruelty and torture. It was the political establishmentand and  the legal apparatus established by the politicians
There are those who are jumping on the bandwagon that it was purely misogynistic treatment of women that was the root cause of this  disgraceful near  miscarriage of Justice,
Wrong again.
Just think of the Guilford four and Binmingham 6,where innocent men were stitched by a corrupt police force and State apparatus and later exonerated.
This was in the U.K. and we were no different .
All these guys were men,not women and I am certain that had I time to research the convictions secured here in that ERA I am sure I  could come up with more.
The same political parties that ran the show then are now presiding over a State where criminals and non criminals are murdered on a weekly if not a daily basis.
It is no wonder that they are still trying to divert responsibility from  themselves to "all of us ".

And by the way I accept that the Serpent tempted certain so called Catholics to his side in the past.Satan plys a sly game.
Satans suipreme triump will surely be Starte killing of the deferceless ouborn

The good people.

Today was a day from hell hereabouts. The chill factor alone would knock you over. There was hateful slanting rain that cut to the bone and the leaden sky was so dark and threatening that it would depress you.Outdoor livestock were huddled against the wind and rain seeking shelter against the elements.
In these conditions I  had to head to Trim.
Now the hair is long and  untidy and I wasn't dressed the best.I walk funny as a result of a stroke endured in 2009 and with the aid of a walking stick and progress is slow.I suppose I looked as miserable as I felt.
To my amazement a very able lady of my own age, I would guess ,approached me and offered me a two Euro piece to buy myself a cup of tea and get in out of the cold.I thanked her kindly and declined.
It might have been a case of mistaken identity but there again it may not have been.
Certainly the milk of human nature still flows strongly in some.
God bless her.
I also was lucky enough to meet Pat Conway from Halltown ,who was a great friend of my uncles Joe and Tommy as a child and often helped them at the farming.
He is home for the Christmas from the States ,never lost has accent and never aged a day in twenty years.A decent guy and a huge loss to Ireland and Dunderry, which as I told someone was founded the day after God banished Adam and Eve from the garden of Eden.

Devaluation of Marriage .

In  a STATE dominated by a homosexual ethos ,under the stewardship of a homosexual Taoiseach and reported and commented on by a tame media totally fearful of standing up for heterosexual values and norms it is little wonder that such is the disrespect for the institution of  marriage that we now have two heterosexual men marrying for tax advantages.
This follows on from the lie that marriage between a man and a woman is no different than the union of a man to a man nor a woman to a woman. It is clear that they are not the same,no matter what the referendum result was.
I await the next absurdity.

Tommy Tiernan.Arsehole Supreme.

There is little doubt that the Electronic Media is totally in the firm control of Satan and his empire of evil. For example on RTE Radio today we had serial panellists ,known for their wish to enable the murder of  the defenceless unborn ,pollute a programme ,the alleged purpose of which was to celebrate the lives and achievements of note in 2017,
On the deaths of Cardinal Connell and Bishop Casey they made so little of them that were I Primate of Ireland I would bar them for life and in death from Consecrated ground.
Both their hatred of the Catholic Religion and that of the presenter  was so palpable that it could be felt in the very air that emanated from the studio.
It is no coincidence that the Justine thing was a permanent fixture on the Vincent Brown anti Catholic shambles that set out to do down Catholicism at every hand's turn.
She has found a home in the squaddie Duffy's show which abhors everything Republican and Catholic.
They had better hope that God's capacity for forgiveness is greater than mine as like the Brown fella they will be meeting him soon enough,no more than myself..
While snoozing on the afternoon of Christmas Day I think I  heard a contributor on a show presented by wrinkle puss O  Leary on RTE Radio ,another Catholic hater ,drone on about abuse by  Christian Brother
.In my  own experience the only abuse I suffered was at the hands of a lay teacher educated ,if that is the word,at University just like herself and around the same time I would say.
They really love the  sound of their own hateful voices and on The Birthday of Jesus too.Absolutely no respect .
But the worst of all was the performance of Navan creature Tommy Tiernan on an offshoot of TV3 this evening. In a display of hatred ,which ISIL would be proud of he blasphemed Christ's teaching as much as he could, liberally interspersing his sneering of the Sacred teachings with as many  curse words as he could muster ,especially the word "CUNT"
I don't know whether his parents are alive or not and whether hay are buried in the Christian rite, and  I don't know whether he is married or has children and if he has ,whether he thinks it OK to teach them such language and feels proud to let them see such performances ,but in my book he is a disgrace to humanity a bigot of the most extreme type, a man  unfit to rear children if the language he uses in the Show is used at home in front of them and the biggest disgrace of an excuse of a creature yet to go into exile from Navan.
I think he lives in Galway. They are welcome to him down there.
That the two biggest Stations chose to revile God and his Church and His  Teachings on the occasion of his birthday must have Satan and Hell rocking.
Soon enough Satan will be welcoming the programmers and presenters into his Kingdom of Evil.

That says it all really.

I know that those currently running the GAA Club are not long enough hereabouts to appreciate the sort of responsibility they are momentarily in charge of and the traditions they are charged with nurturing and continuing to protect.
Today at Christmas Mass I spoke to a man in his seventies who ,although he does no longer live here has never missed Christmas Mass here since his parents died.He is Dunderry to the backbone and so were his parents.
At 16 he played with the Intermediate Team ,which was the prime football team at the time .His father was still playing.
I asked him had he played with Francie Tuite who I think is the oldest living ex Dunderry footballer. He said he hadn't.I suspect that Tim Coffey might be the next oldest and I asked had he played with him, but Brendan Rogers and Paddy Conway may be older
.He said he was coming on the team at the time Tim and the Major Cregan were in the backs and the Goat Stanley was in goals.
Such was the reputation of these guys throughout the County that every forward line in the County feared them thoroughly.
Our man told me that he himself was afraid to play with these Dunderry legends, even though they were on the same team.
Incidentally I think  I  saw young Pat Conway and a clatter of Dooleys at Mass today.
Home really is where the heart is.
I'm going on the beer tomorrow and will keep ye informed of what is happening.
The same Brendan I mention above is home recovering from  fairly serious opration and we wish him well..

Longest living ex Dunderry Player under pressure.

Nearly ninety years young Francie Tuite is the oldest living ex Dunderry player alive. If ever a man needed prayer he does.
