Living in fear in Dunderry

I coined the above phrase in connection with my unsuccessful political campaign for the local elections the last time around.I kept it up for the General Elections,also unsuccessfully contested by me.Despite the fact that my opponents spread the calumny that a lone voice like mine was worthless and that a vote for me was a vote wasted,not enough people recognised the veracity of my message to vote for me ,settling for the fir  breaga instead.
I have written before about the spate of burglaries on the rural dwellers of this Parish,.Official Ireland do not give a continental (and I use the word advisedly ) fuck about the people hereabouts,being too busy advising the organisers of the Boston and New York Saint Patrick's Day Parades on the current views of the Irish on gays to look after their own back yards.(A blind man could see from the surnames of the bigger mouths on this issue that they know feic all about Irish heritage and traditions and are and have been more concerned with bringing the extermination mills for the unborn from their parts of the world to our once fair land.).
Well  in the past fortnight at least a half dozen rural dwellers have had their properties defiled by the theft of heating oils,agricultural diesel ,power tools,ride on and petrol /diesel lawn mowers and the  attempted theft of tractors.
These thefts happen during the hours of darkness and these guys are not afraid of hard work,often making literally hundreds of trips with five gallon cans to completely empty full tanks of fuel.They use bolt cutters ,hack saws ,sledge hammers ,monkey wrenches to gain access to their objectives and appear to be mechanically minded .
They approach even across dark fields ,reportedly wear masks and working gloves to avoid leaving finger prints and will return in time to complete a job not fully completed.
They are clearly well versed in the lie of the land and have a level of knowledge not available even from the complex world of technology.They know who to rob,when to do it and what to rob.
Either they live in our midst or have accurate informatiom from those living in our midst.
What is potable they dispose of quickly.My guess is that the fuel is burned within their own spheres of influence,either in boiler heaters or in motor vehicles.I guess that they have the knowledge to fix the burners inter se and keep their activity under wraps.
With the best will in the world the Gardai are like the little boy with ho is finger in the dyke,too busy satisfying Leo the Lip and Gaybo in the persecution of the indigenous peoples to collect Revenue,to afford the resources to follow up fully on these matters.
The victims are afraid to leave their homes,afraid to conveniently heat them by storing a decent supply of fuel,afraid to fill their tractors less they be drained and damaged and afraid to go out after dark.CCTV offers no protection against these thugs and well they know it .
And 200,00 young men and women who could help their elder relatives put it up to these hateful curs are forced to flee this misfortunate country each year by a Government and Union that just hasn't a clue,cares less about its own than the Brits ever did and still finds time to advise the Parade advisers in the USA.
The sooner people realise that we have living among us a substantial number of guests  about whom we know nothing, from all corners of this country and of Europe generally ,but who are more aware of their rights than us  and the sooner we as a Country  take some concrete action to regulate those we allow free access to in living here the better,
The Swiss has it right .They voted to stem the stampede that threatens their culture,jobs and way of life.The sooner we do so the better.
By the way I know a lot of foreigners who are sound,but there are many who neither I ,their neighbours nor the Gardie have a clue about.
You would have to laugh,if it wasn't so serious,at the fact that the indigenous Irish have to march in Dublin to be allowed transact business in their own Language and that an atheist Labour Party wants the teaching of  religion and history abolished in  the Schools.
THE COMMANDMENT "THOU SHALL NOT STEAL "should be repeatedly shouted at all government ministers and new arrivals to our State ,preferably in Irish ,instead of showing them how to siphon off another man's diesel .
It is inevitable that it is only a matter of time until another Nally case surfaces in a house near you.
Until then live on in fear and do the gom and vote for a fear or bean breaga in the Local Elections.And when your turn comes let the message sink home too late.
