We have the liathroidi and the skill.We were plagued by injuries today and needed men to fill the gap.We have them.The young bulls proved they are worthy of the jersey and the older bulls yet again confirmed that they are in fine fettle and well up to the job..All is well in the world.Well done whacko and Company.
I would say that the Blackhall ladies have the best lungs in Leinster.Fair dues to them.
A long standing Blackhall hurling man confirmed to me after that both themselves and their near neighbours are plagued with emigration of their young men especially.
This is something I have alluded to already and this aspect is being downplayed by the powers that be.At national level and Community level the Politicians will have to get the fingers out and stop hunting the cream of our youth from their birthright and persecuting them by the criminal neglect they seem happy to perpetuate.If they don't they will reap the whirlwind.
