Vandalisation of Robinstown Church.

Robinstown Church is a small well attended Catholic Church and could be described as quaint,I go there often.

The front of the Church is adorned by a number of lead separeted small glass panel windows which are pleasing to the eye.

There is a small car park in front of the Church to facilitate the parking of vehicles of attendees of the various Church ceremonies.

There are thousands of acres of farmland in the Parish and a very well run GAA Club in Dunderry for youths of all ages.

Recently some youths used the car park as an exercise space for hurling ,it seems and used the windows for target practise..

Thet broke many ,many panes of glass and they had to be replaced at considerable cost to the Parish.

Neither the culprits nor their parents have come forward to admit responsibility nor offer compensation.

This is not good enough and  in plain language is a desecration of a place of God.

It is my guess that the perpetrators neither sttend Services in the Church nor have their parents taught them respect for the House of God nor the feelings of their Catholic neighbours.

N o social solidarity by them.

Hogan's replacement.and gonad politics.

Would Vread have the nerve to put himself forward as a replacement for Hogan, having just sacked him in effect..

Do not be surprised if he does.

Certainly loyalty counts for nothing in the new fine gael. Not that it ever did.

What Hitler could not achieve by force the Germans have achieved by stealth and rule Europe and our boys suck up to this.

All other things being equal ,and it never is,the decisive factor in the appointment of the next Irish Commissioner will be the shape of her gonads.

Imagine the rage that would have arisen had Hitler organised his Administration on THE BASIS OF THE SHAPE OF THE APPLICANTS GONADS.

God help us all and the people who have no actual gonads.

The witch hunt of HOGAN AND OTHERS

In June of this year I  wrote an article on this Government called Goosy,Goosy, Gander, predicting the likely destruction of F.F  and F.G. by the Gander Greens. It was not hard to predict this.

With the hunger of Big Mickie,Vread two nipples and the Gander Ryan for power and a spineless bunch of journalists who merely ask "how high should I jump",when asked by the Government to jump,it is no wonder that trial by mob rule is now the norm in political and journalistic circles in Eire.

Its as simple as this.Big Mickie,Vread two Nipples and the Gander have sold out to the Devil long ago by sanctioning the murder of pre born humans in the State's  Hospitals and the medical profession are also  involved in the murder of the defenceless preborn to boot.

So witch hunting and abandoning due process is of little consequence by comparison.I mean if Satan owns you  already you might as well go the whole hog and destroy the Populace in its entirety.

Make no mistake these people care about no one but themselves and with a kow towing media the sound of the jack boot grows by the second.

By the way the goose population of the pond referred to in the earlier article came to an end when stoats, ferrets ,mink, weasels and foxes who loved the taste of goose flesh killed and ate the gander.

You can easily match the faces of the opposition leaders who joined in the rush to mob rule to these hateful creatures.

And all of these claim to be speaking for the people of Ireland.

You musy be joking.

Yesterday a 90 plus year neighbour of mine ,who cannot wear a mask was verbally abused when he entered a nearby shop to buy necessities.

This is called social cohesion.

The medical profession and the Government have done all thety can to destroy it.

They should be ashamed of themselves.

The next institution they want to take out is the niclear family, especially if it is Christian,

Watch this spece.

O Me of little faith

I  knocked a field of potential hay a week ago.I  reckon that God sends at least a week every year to enable farmers here to make hay. This year would be no different I thought.

But then you have the weather forecasters to contend with.Their predictions were dire each day.Relying on the colour of the Sky each night and praying to my God I turned the hay each day until Thursday and then panicked in the face of the scientists weather reports and baled and wrapped it.

The Sky colour was favourable and my belief in God waned and boy was I  wrong.Today Friday was a grand day and the hay would have wilted and dried enough to avoid wrapping it.

There you go.

J.H.L.Dunderry V Killyon July 2020.

Played in Dunderry on a grand evening on a pristine pitch this game was well contested. The fact that Ted Dowd is managing Killion adds spice to these encounters.
Dunderry fielded as follows.;-
                                            Alan Casey

C.Heffernan                        Tom Doc                     Mickey Brogan

Cathasl Ryan                    Tomas Conroy                  T.J.Loughran

                                      G.Dooley                  Stefan Clarke.

Peter Casey                           Baby Doc                       Eoin Ryan

Conor Brady                       Christy Harrington             Kevin Clynch.

Subs introduced D.O.Laoghaire AND   Kevin Clarke.
.
First let me say that it is great that we are consistently fielding a Junior Hurling team.In my opinion this is mostly due to the effort of Killian Minogue AND I  take my hat off to him.
Secondly I  must acknomledge the input of the Irish speaking area of our Parish  Lambay into the fielding and management of our football and hurling teams at all levels .
Fair dues.

Back to the game.

It was well contested and played in the right spirit .Both teams were skilled and fair and the competition was keen.No dirt.
Loughran is one for the future.Must be the Kiltale blood.I  jest.
But the outstanding scorer for us was Baby Doc,who landed four of our first half points ,the others coming from Harry and the Ryan brothers. One point I COULD NOT IDENTIFY THE SCORER.It is hard with helmets
Half time score.Dunderry 0 9. Killyon 1-6.

The second half continued as the first finished, both sides getting dtuck in,the referee doing a reasonable job and his wife likewise.N o controversy today.
We added o0-7 in the second half,Bob scoriing 0-5,Tomas 0-1 and i missed one score.
Killyon added 2-8 ,I  think to win by
3-19 to 0-17,according to the Ref.
A decent game and the margin does not do us justice. We were closer in skill and effort.

Dunderry v Kilmainham .I.F.C OI/08/2Q20

Played at 4.00 p.m .in a pristine John Newman Park this match was  much anticipated as it was the first that was  played by us under the corona restrictions, which in my mind are pure nonsense as they apply to sport attendances.
There was enough open space to accomodate several hundred more spectators even giving them a full two metres space inter se.
But back to the business on hand.
Like many attendees I  was hungry for action and I  was not disappointed as a display of all that is good in the game was served up by two teams of equal ability and competitiveness ,It was a pity that there had to be a loser.

                                              Dunderry
                                         Sean Brennan

Davy  Mc Cormack                  Conor Dempsey                         Aaron Newman

Conor O Shea                           Ronan Brady                              Mark  Kane

                                   Bomber Farrell                    Morgan Callaghan

Dermot Kelly                            Lukie Martyn                                Andy Coogan

Gooch Daly                               Simon  Carty                                Stephen Coogan.

Within three minutes Michael Newman from Kil.showed just why he is a county player by rattling the Dunderry net and sending over a point to boot.Greart start for them. And they posted another point via ,I  think, a guy called Morgan ,who is one for the future and pooceeded to torment us for the rrest of the hour.
But we rallied and scored the next three  points ,courtesy of Stephen Coogan, two from frees and one from play. How we missed him last year in both codes. He is to us what Newman is to the opposition.
A knacky and classy period of footbal followed as Bomber -a point ,Simon -a point ,and Stephen Coogan -3 points ,two frees .kept us in touch..Kil .continued to play good football by registering four furter points with Newman and Morgan being the persecutors in chief.
At half time the score was Dunderry 0-8  AND kIL.1-6.
Whatever wind was in it was in Kil.s favour in the first half and it really was an exhibition of free flowin good football with everybody giving their all.
On the resumption Lukie complimented his fine exhibition of all round play by scoring a minor ,but Morgan ,I  think put the cat among the pigeons with successive scores of a goal and a point.and a pointed free.
Our lads did not give up and Bomber scored a minor and Stephen Coogan scored a brace of points, one a free to give us impetus.
Jordan Martin came on for Gooch and registered a point to bring us closer ,but Newman scored a magnificienrt free to edge them further ahead.Coogan score two more frees to their their two and we were beat on the scrore of 2-11 to 0-15.
Adam Kelly and I  think Conor Leavy were introduced late on.
This was a game for the ages dominated scorewise by Newman and Stephen Coogan  in the scoring stakes.
Newman and Morgan were our main persecutors, but all our guys can hold their heard up high.
Dermot Kelly had probably his most impressive game for the Club to date , but as I  said all played their socks off.
The match could have gone either way.
From now on the route we must take is a knock out one ,with four teams only in the group and only one going forward ,as far as I  know.
David Jennings, probably the best non capped goalie in Meath, did not figure in goals yesterday .He owes nothing to the Club.
His successor Sean Brennan has big boots to fill and will soon be the Meath Senior Keeper I  predict.
Davy Mac is the sole survivor of the 2005 Senior Team I  managed. And brought down to Intermediate..

Tommy Dowd,Barry Callaghan,Con O  Neill ,Stephen O  Rourke,Kevin Dowd and now Davy  Callaghan have /are trying to get back up.
Davy faces a mammoth task but the spirit is top class.
The unavailability of Paddy Kenneally -broken arm - and Liam  Dempsey and Oisin Martyn -- study ---will make an already hard task Herculean ,but there is justification for hope on yesterday's pewrformance.
Hoping for the best.
