Appeal Court and Criminal Fraternity ad idem O Brien judgement/

The recent decision of the Appeal Court relating to advanced age and infirmity  i.e. that neither advanced age nor serious illness nor infirmity are reasons for avoidance of long prison sentences places the administration of justice as a matter of principle on a par with the modus operandi of those  vicious criminals who by the same measure rob, intimidate and beat up their elderly and infirm victims irrespective of their age and infirmity.
Consistency .
Is justice now about revenge solely.
Have victims of these atrocities the right to insist on castration ,for example.
Or the amputation of hands for thieves.
