Cromwell's men murdered all before them in Dunderry Parish

In 1641 /42 Charlie Coote (Sir ) led a  murder squad which murdered Mrs Eleanor Taaffe of Tullanogue,a sixty year old woman and six female companions. and burned alive an eighty year old blind beggar woman.
Later that day they came to Kilbride where they hanged two more women and two decrepit tramps who made the mistake of begging for alms.
They next went to where I live in Philpotstown ,Dunderry and murdered all the ploughmen they encountered, before heading to Ardbraccan(Dorhamstown),where they murdered 42 men women and children and eighteen infants and battered to death a woman in a mill race.( officr in charge Richie Grenville (Sir)
In Stonestown Parish a cairn of stones is the last vestige of a burial plot of a community of people from that area murdered while reaping corn
These are just a few of the many thousands of atrocities perpetrated against the people of Meath in that period .
Isay this because I cannot see how any decent Irishman can stomach a knighthood which joins him at the hips to these butchers of his own people, butthere again no decent Irishman would accept such a knighthood.
The reason these people were murdered was because they were Irish and Catholic.
It is therefor sickening to see how many supposed Irish Catholics have so easily been turned against their religion ,seduced by the forces of evil, turned their backs on the customs and beliefs of their parents and are so vociferous in their hatred of their own race.
HUGE SWATHES OF THE YOUNGER POPULATION HAVE PREFERRED THE HAPPINESS OF THEIR HOMOSEXUAL FRIENDS TO THE TRADITIONS AND H BELIEFS OF THEIR PARENTS AND THINK IT HIP TO MAKE THIS CHOICE.
Cromwell would no doubt approve.
And Neda and Joan and Mickie and Gerry and Lucinda and all political leaders played the pied piper.
They  abolishing the teaching of history anddowngrading teaching of Irish.
Guss why.
And ye hip  young things who turned your backs on the traditions of your parents have taken all and given back just broken hearts.
Ye shall reap as ye sowed.
Patrick Kieleys "A history of Dunderry " is the source of the historical information.
