Death of Alan Brady ,native of Black Road,Robinstown,Navan.

Alan 's mother and mine, both called Peggy ,were first cousins, their mothers, both  Mallons, having been sisters.
Alan was reared on the Black Road in Robinstown and had a garage there until recently when he retired due to a turn he suffered while golfing. As far as I knew he recovered well from the turn but retired anyway being of the age ...66 I believe.
I had no idea he wasn't well and his death came as a complete shock to all here.
It is true for Alan and the wider Brady family that life threw many hurtful and sad hurdles before them but they kept on going regardless and put a brave face on it.
I know that he was a keen golfer in Royal Tara as we share a number of mutual friends but as as far as I can see he was an intensely private person generally.
He lived in Navan and is reposing at the Chapel of Rest in Old Johnstown from 5.00 to 9.00 p.m.today Friday 9/9/2016 with Funeral Mass tomorrow in St.Mary's Church ,Navan at 10.00 a.m.and burial afterward in Dunderry Cemetery.
To his surviving wife Margaret ,his children Lisa and David, his brother James,a regular fixture around Dunderry ,his sisters Anne,Nuala, and Rosaleen, other relatives and friends we offer our sincerest sympathies.
Ar Dheis De go raibh a hAnam Dilis.
