The Mass today in Dunderry was grand.Priest,servers ,choir,readers ,collectors,Ministers of the Eucharist,sacristan and congregation excelled themselves.Many emigrants were home for Christmas and the crowd was big enough.
However there was no disguising the vast swathes of friends missing and unable to be there because of the cancer of economic emigration.T'would break your heart.
Pity the scrooges responsible wouldn't themselves take a one way ticket and make room for those forced out.
Given the day that's in it,I will pull in my horns for now.
