The reduction in the refund of redundancy payments from 60% to 15% to employers and the additional 2% increase in the standard rate of VAT will increase the out of work numbers by at least 10,000.00 by Easter and bring small town and rural Ireland to its knees.
This figure is exclusive of the number of small businesses that will go to the wall.
