The blog wishes everybody a happy and holy Christmas.
Our hearts go out to all those unable to be with their loved ones at this time of year.
It really goes out to those who have no one to love them at this time.
How about this for a Christmas shopping list a hundred years ago:-
"A pound of tea at one and three,
A pot of raspberry jam,
Two dozen eggs,
One dozen pegs ,
And a pound of rashers of ham."
