GAA needs to up it's game.

As I understand it there is  a new sport to be introduced for the Olympic Games in the future,a form of rugby sevens ,I think.
Everybody knows that the Irish ladies rugby team won the World Cup recently.
The rugby coach tasked with promoting the Olympic sevens team has stated that the reason the Irish ladies won the world Cup was because they had vetted the Ladies GAA  players and turned them from GAA  football to rugby and that they would be doing the same to men GAA players  for the Olympic sevens.
Now the IRFU is tendering to get the World Cup Rugby Finals hosted in Ireland and the GAA is promoting this venture , is bent in making all its facilities available for his purpose and the General secretary of the Association is a member of the hosting committee.
If this event is secured for Ireland the popularity of rugby here will soar.
Why  in the name of all that's Holy  ( and there is very little that's left ) would an organisation that's competing for the sporting  minds of Ireland youth hand over the reins of its stadia to an organisation that is already actively and deliberately pooching it members and increase the popularity of its greatest sporting competitors.
Is there anyone with any principle left at all in Gaelic Ireland or is it destined to go the way of the Irish language ?
